Principal
Mr. Tafro has a diversified business background which includes finance, law, real estate development, construction, and restaurants. Al joined forces with Bill White and Sal Davino over 10 years ago in JRC Management Corp. to source, locate, develop, construct, open and operate franchise restaurants.
Mr. Tafro also brings more than 28 years of investment real estate experience in acquisitions, development, financing, leasing and property management, through his work as a principal in Fidelity Land Development. At Fidelity Mr. Tafro serves as Chief Operating Officer, where he oversaw the acquisition, financing and lease-up of the 819,000+ s.f. Watchung Square Mall anchored by Target, Home Depot and Wal-Mart, as well as the final approvals and leasing of The Streets at Chester.
Mr. Tafro's prior experience embodies fifteen years as a business attorney, including ten years as a principal, in the law firm of Brach Eichler, and employment with The Chase Manhattan Bank N.A. in New York. Mr. Tafro is a member of the ICSC and a licensed NJ real estate salesperson. Mr. Tafro graduated from The College of William and Mary in Virginia with a BA in Economics and from Seton Hall Law School, cum laude in 1984. Mr. Tafro serves as Board member of the Diamond Club at Mendham High School and volunteers as a high-performance driving instructor for the Porsche Club of America.
